1.What is the anti-puncture protection strip?
The Halston Puncture Shield Pad is a product designed to protect your tyres from punctures caused by objects such as nails, screws, or bolts. It is placed inside the tyre to instantly seal holes and prevent air leaks.
2.How to choose the right model for my car?
You must select the model based on your tyre's width:
Halston Puncture Shield Pad 7 – 7.8 in (185 – 205 mm): For tyre width between 7 – 7.8 in
Halston Puncture Shield Pad 7.8 – 8.6 in (205 – 225 mm): For tyre width between 7.8 – 8.6 in
Halston Puncture Shield Pad 9 – 10.2 in (235 – 265 mm): For tyre width between 9 – 10.2 in
Halston Puncture Shield Pad 10.6 – 12.2 in (275 – 315 mm): For tyre width between 10.6 – 12.2 in
3.What types of tires are compatible with this pad?
The Halston Puncture Shield Pad is designed for tubeless tyres. It can be used on SUVs, Sedans, Compact Cars, City Cars, Sports Cars, Trucks, etc.
Note: It cannot be used on tyres with inner tubes.
4.How do I install the Halston Puncture Shield Pad?
Remove the tyre from the wheel.
Clean the inside of the tyre.
Remove the protective film from the pad.
Stick the adhesive part of the pad to the inside of the tyre.
Ensure the entire inner surface of the tyre is covered with the pad.
Reinstall the tyre on the wheel and reinflate it.
5.Is the Halston Puncture Shield Pad only for new tyres?
No, it can be installed on both new and previously used tyres.
6.Does the pad affect tyre balancing?
No, the pad is engineered to maintain tyre balance and does not impact wheel performance.
7.Does the pad absorb road noise?
Yes, it helps to reduce road noise by up to 60%, enhancing driving comfort.
8.What is the lifespan of the Halston Puncture Shield Pad?
The pad is designed to last for the entire lifespan of your tyre, remaining effective until the tire is completely worn out.
9.Can the pad protect tyre sidewalls?
No, the pad only protects the inner surface of the tyre, not the sidewalls.
10.What is the tyre inflation pressure after installing the pad?
The inflation pressure of your tyres remains the same. The Halston Puncture Shield Pad does not alter your tyre's characteristics.
11.Does using the pad cause a loss of power?
No, the pad weighs approximately 750 g to 900 g (depending on the model) and does not affect vehicle performance.
12.Is there a speed limit when using the pad?
No, you can continue driving at any speed, including 60 mph, 100 mph, 160 mph, or higher, without performance issues.
13.Does the pad require any special maintenance?
No, the Halston Puncture Shield Pad requires no special maintenance. Once installed, it works automatically without any follow-up.
14.In what conditions can you drive with the pad?
You can drive in all conditions, including summer, winter, rain, snow, asphalt, and off-road environments.
15.What are the delivery times?
Our delivery times are 5 to 10 days. We partner with trusted delivery companies that ensure hand-delivery with signature confirmation.
